Elections matter. They are crucial for the exercise of our democratic rights, power and responsibilities. At a time when our national security and China experts have raised serious alarms about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP’s) unduly influence and infiltration into Canada, we believe it is of paramount importance that voters and the media be properly informed about our candidates’ attitude towards the CCP regime in Beijing and our foreign policy towards China. This would be critical in safeguarding the integrity of this federal election and our democratic institutions.

It is equally important that our political party leaders and candidates are knowledgeable about issues and their implications on Canada’s sovereignty and national interests, and be transparent in their stance.
